A specific peptide extracted from bovine colostrum (ômothersÆ first milkö) and possessing iron-binding properties. Lactoferrin has been shown to be involved in biochemical processes in lymphocytes and in iron metabolism.* Obtained from the milk of Dutch range-grazed cattle, raised without the use of hormones, antibiotics and pesticides with 95% purity and 77.5% to 80.5% iron-binding capacity.
